Volunteering In Sport

Volunteering in sport is extremely rewarding and you do not need previous experience to take part.

Benefits of volunteering can include:

  • Advice and guidance from your volunteer coordinator
  • Mentor and buddy support during holiday clubs
  • Gaining skills and work experience
  • A continuous development pathway to accredited training
  • Improved prospects for further education or employment

You do not need to be sporty to be a sports volunteer.
There are plenty of volunteering roles that need filling each year, such as:

  • Coaches
  • Sport leaders
  • Competition officials
  • Administrators
  • Fundraisers
  • Behind-the-scenes staff
  • Event registrars
  • Grounds maintenance

Becoming a volunteer at Pelican Park couldn’t be easier, all you have to do is get in touch with a member of the Development Team to make an appointment to pop and see ways in which you could get involved. Call into Pelican Park today, or email  info@pelicanparkhull.org

Friends of Pelican Park would not be able to offer the wide range of sporting activities if not for the support received from Trusts & Foundations, Local Businesses and General Donations.
